Prices for Turkish Real Estate Continue to Rise, Especially for Foreign Investors
According to a report by the Association of Real Estate Service Exporters (GİGDER), the average price of residential properties for foreign buyers reached a record high of $273,233 in the second quarter of 2024. This significantly exceeds the previous figure of $170,719, indicating substantial growth since the launch of the index.
Additionally, in May of this year, there was a notable increase in transactions involving foreign buyers, rising by more than 60% compared to April. Turkish real estate remains a sought-after investment, especially considering that the value of properties purchased several years ago has increased from $300,000 to $1 million today.
